US not responsible for surge of violence in Sinaloa, American ambassad

U.S. Ambassador Ken Salazar rejected accusations from Mexico’s president regarding cartel warfare.. Sinaloa experienced a surge in violence as two warring factions clashed in Culiacan.. The violent outbreak appears to be a power struggle after two leaders were arrested in July.. Salazar stated it is incomprehensible to blame the United States for the massacres seen.
