NBC, CBS polls show Harris gaining ground on Trump as views brighten

Kamala Harris leads Trump by 5 percentage points in a recent NBC News poll.. 48% of 1,000 registered voters view Harris positively, up from 32% in July.. This marks the largest jump in politician ratings polled since President George W. Bush.. Harris' emergence as a Democratic candidate has significantly improved her favorability ratings.
