John Robinson, a legendary USC coach, passed away at 89 due to pneumonia complications.. Robinson, inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2018, leaves a lasting legacy.. He started his coaching career as an assistant with the Oregon Ducks, shaping many players' futures.. Born in Baton Rouge, he played tight end for Oregon and was part of the 1958 Rose Bowl team.
